Chicken & Sausage Spiedini

This week’s Eat-A-Dish for Make-A-Wish dish of the week, Chicken & Sausage Spiedini, will take your taste buds to the Mediterranean. Marinated, grilled chicken and sausage served vesuvio style, an Italian-American dish famous in Chicago, classically made with chicken on the bone and wedges of potato, sauteed with garlic, oregano, white wine and olive oil. Ours is a twist on the original preparation, served  with crispy potatoes, grilled bell peppers and finished with a Sicillian vinaigrette, the perfect delicious and healthy dish for anyone! Available through June 1st, so hurry in if you haven’t tried it yet!

    Made this last night and it was awesome!  A couple of small “home” changes, quarted small red potatoes, boiled them and tossed in olive oil and garlic for crispiness.  Prepared a skewer of portabello mushrooms to serve as well!  Easy, great patio/deck meal to impress guests, and very tasty!
