Mikey’s Meatloaf

Thank you to everyone who has submitted a recipe for this month’s contest – we have already received over 100 recipes and winners will be randomly chosen on Friday! This month we are featuring one of my favorite creations, “Mikey’s Meatloaf.” I grew up in an Italian family and we were always cooking delicious homemade meals. Our meatloaf has an Italian twist with ground veal and beef, ricotta cheese and served mashed potatoes with a white wine cream sauce.

    I never understand when a site, such as Maggiano’s highlights an amazing looking and appealing recipe and doesn’t share it with it’s fans. How about Mikey’s Meatloaf? And perhaps from now on, the recipes of all those delights that you all showcase. I promise to still come eat at your restaurant. There is nothing like having the original at your place. Thanks.

    made this tonight, and it was terrific, although it was a lot of work! you describe it as having a white wine sauce, and yet there is no wine mentioned in the recipe.
