When you are hosting a party, you want to make a good impression. This Fruit Slush Punch is something that will not only make a good impression, but it will be a conversation starter. Be prepared to give out this punch cocktail recipe, because your guests will be sure to inquire.
Fruit Slush Punch Ingredients:
1 Cup white sugar
6 Cups water
Two 3 oz. packages of strawberry flavored gelatin mix
One 46 oz. can of pineapple juice
2/3 Cup lemon juice
1 Quart orange juice
Two 2-liter bottles of lemon-lime soda
Optional fruit for garnish
In a large (6-8 quart) saucepan, combine water, sugar and strawberry flavored gelatin. Boil for 3 minutes. Stir in pineapple juice, lemon juice, and orange juice. Divide mixture in half, and freeze in 2 separate containers.
When ready to serve, place the frozen contents of one container in a large, 8 quart punch bowl, and stir in 1 bottle of lemon-lime soda until slushy.
Top with sliced fruit if desired.
Repeat with remaining portions as needed and enjoy!
Serves 50 (4 oz servings)
