  • Shelly_niemeyer

Any change in the price if you don’t get the wine? Teetotaler discount?

  • Whatgives2008

I’m bummed they don’t offer a vegetarian entree… Would have been a good choice for valentines day. :(

  • Doc

$100.00+   Woo Hoo!! and for that you get just one glass of wine (6oz or 9oz – probably 6oz) each and a shared dessert. Be still my foolish heart!

  • SM

The meal Valentines Meal for Two sounds wonderful and we would love to take advantage of it except I am vegetarian and none of the entrees are meatless.  Could a meatless entree be substituted?

  • beachguy325

Seems a little high, considering we just had dinner on the buy two take two for less than that. Maybe if you were offering a bottle of wine vs 2 glasses of wine it might be a little more reasonable. Plus I think on any given day we could eat for less than $70.00 there and have.

I have never been to this restaurant and my co-worker who frequents there only say’s good things about the place.  Is the dinner for two really worth $100?  Is the food really that good?

  • Greg

    Who tips $20 on a $70 meal? That’s a 28.6% tip. I’ll be a waiter for that rate…

Entrees seem limited for this restaurant. Not appealing to me.

  • Toyopro025

Man you people are cheap. Go to olive garden then

  • kelly

If you haven’t signed up for emails yet, make sure you do it and you’ll get $10 off. I personally prefer the special for 2. For $40 you get 2 classic pastas (plus 2 to go – lasagna and eggplant parmesan are the best!!), a free appetizer (the pepperoni flatbread is sooooo good), plus desert. With the coupon you only pay $30 plus tax plus tip.

  • acriticalthinker

It’s good but I go for the pasta for today pasta for tomorrow deal for $12.95  (two meals, one to go)  Now, THAT’s a deal!  The lasagna is usually my choice.

  • Greg

The food is above average quality, but not spectacular. Some seating is really good, but the first floor in the middle is like eating in a cafeteria.

  • Greg

How is it being cheap to think spending $50 each for a dinner is a bit high for this restaurant? There are TONS of places you can eat at for $50 per person and this place won’t top the list.

  • Shaunlmiller

Why is there no prices posted? Maggianos is going to have to do better. No price then this mass email was pointless

  • Tompbear

No wonder they hide it…. deceptive crafty little %#!%….

  • Bmcternan

This is very expensive, If you add up the items that they are giving you from the regular menu…does it really add up to 70 dollars……I’m not going

  • Anonymous

This is exactly the same as their “Marco’s meal” only this comes with 2 glasses of wine and slightly nicer meal options… the Marco’s meal is only 40, so if this is actually 70, the food better and wine better be quite impressive (I eat there 5-6 times a month, good food, just occasionally over priced) maybe were paying for the word “amore”? Lol

  • Anonymous

Wouldn’t that be nice, I eat there a lot … I should demand a frequent flyer discount! Lol

Food, service and surroundings outstanding. Ideal location for pampering and unforgetable evening out. Johanna

  • MM

Not really that expensive for the amount and quality of food.  I’m familiar with a Valentines special at another restaurant for $75 per person.

  • Juliob07

You guys think that $70 for a appetizer, two entries, a dessert and two glasses of wine is expensive?

  • ALD

Agree… Regular Marco’s meal is ~$40 AND you get to take two pasta dishes home!

  • Gbarr2

My husband and I celebrated our birthdays last night at Maggiano’s.  We had the an amazing meal veal parmigan and I had the chicken france,   We now have a new favorite restaurant Maggiano’s.  Our waiter’s name was Larry.  He was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and he was very efficent.  We had a wonderful meal in a beautiful restarant that we enjoyed immensely!

Thank you Roger and Gloria Barr

  • RS

$70 – $100 for this, are you kidding me?  I’ve had same meal before and did not pay even $70.00….WOW!

  • GK

What do you expect… this is not Shoney’s.

  • Bmcternan

Yes….check the math, if you choose the most expensive options you save  $ .25…..This is no deal…..

  • Rudy

Neither my mate or I drink wine and both prefer simpler fare.

  • Jannecarson

I have had too many disappointing meals there to risk it.

  • Jmilano

    Way too pricey!

  • JanelKassia29

oh come on==that is what velentines is about–spending a little more to go out for a treat once a year. :) I think its worth it because you have someone make everything for you and you dont have to clean up and you get wine included and other food you could save what  you dont eat and have leftovers for the next day or two! And where else can you get lobster carbanara?? that sounds delish!!! I am poor but would consider asking my husband to splurge and take us here! :)

  • JPG

I’ll go off the regular a la carte menu….

  • Efalcon12

I just joined and was supposted to get a $10.00 certification and I never received it.  Can you send me one.

It should have been Special but We went early about the afternoon/evening shift time and it was such a downer…… I am going, AGAIN, this year hoping for a special dinner….

  • Jack

This is  on the pricey side but you are getting a very nice choice of great foods.  You can still go there and eat for $50 if you want, just be selective on your entree and don’t drink wine.  Life is good stop complaining.

  • Jgentry

Seriously? Where can you go for this quality of food and service for less than $70.00? Appetizer, two entrees, dessert and two glasses of wine-sign me up!

  • Ron

    Don’t forget the tax.

  • LC

We have a $10 off coupon – can that be used with this special?

  • Markearlbauer

It is not I took my daughter there for her birthday a couple of weeks ago and the two for special is 39.95

This is a good deal… Cheap bastards!

The food is great, the service is excellent and the price is pretty good for appetizer, 2 entrees, dessert and wine. Check some other places and see what that will cost you.

    So what’s the price!!!!

  • Jdb

Whoa!  70 divided by two is $35.00 each!  When was the last time you did that at a quality restaurant, priced straight up with two glasses of wine, no less.  My guess you probably tip only 10% regardless of the service.  Looks like you need to make reservations for white table cloth at White Castle.  My bet is this really is a good deal, as are most at Maggiano’s.  Maybe you should stick to Micky D’s!

Bad poting. Why would you put this up without a price?

  • suzyq

If you look at your email it says it’s $70 for 2 in the heart.  Considering what you get it is a bargain, even adding tax and tip. It’s a special meal, treat your gal and smile!

  • Rick

Not much of a bargin. Especially as advertised as an exclusive Valentines Day Offer! You would expect a value priced package.

  • NPS

i was looking all over for the price too.  What kind of a deal is that?  Advertise a deal and hide the price.  Disappointing Maggianos.  I thought you were a classier operation than that.

  • Jamesvscott

Seems pretty negative! All the comments. I will be stopping in this weekend…Don’t think I’ll be trying the Valentine special though.

  • Backupemailaddressiuse

Go easy. It’s for Valentines.  They also do a $12.95 dinner option and give you a second dinner to take home.  Good eats so I had to comment

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ZE3UPUOVE7EEOLLCNFQYWGKHWY barfalina

I don’t know the price except its $5 extra for salmon oscar and lobster.

  • Sassylassie

No thanks!  I’ll stick with your two for $12.95 specials.  Great deal, and, I believe, just as nice.  Add a glass of wine and one dessert to share & it’s still affordable, making it a special night out.

  • Cbrinkman12

There is no price listed.  Accidental?  Obfuscation? Deception.  Or just a surprise?!

  • Ssanders777

Cheaper than anything else I’ve found for Valentines Day!

  • Kat

    My e-mail says $75.00…………..Hmmmmm!

  • Bill

THE FOOD IS ALWAYS EXCELLENT AS IS THE SERVICE, WELL WORTH THE PRICE FOR THAT SPECIAL DAY!

    Bill Leonard

  • Jerome953

I was about to call you cheap and asked if your woman is worth it, but then realized “Jody” IS a woman!

  • Jerome953

    Amen, Suzq

  • Loretka

So why have you not listed the price of this Valentine’s Meal ????

  • Rwerner782

If this is a special offer it SHOULD INCLUDE THE PRICE

  • kelly

it will be a few hours before you get it

  • BN

count “us out”…we can have a heck of a meal for this price at another great place I know.

  • LA Nwa

Family style is more affordable and tastier too!

  • Bob

$70 plus tax and tip (about $90). Olive Garden has $12.95/person w/o the wine and the food is comparable in quality.

  • Ktlblk5

That is a whopper of a price (…as Carl Jr ,might say); and yyah, the price IS in the little heart(ya gotta love’em f’that) at the top of the first graffick. Maybe if they give ya a little hat or something as a memorable take-awhey, other than a heart-shaped winestain possible on one’s silk top…(I know, some might say a red baseball cap from the ‘Pirates’ would be thotful…or,,,dodger’s(?) -sorry). The food is good, but one would appreciate it if Maggi’s could spring f’ someting treatlike f’us loyals – bellas or beaus…even a little red velour scarf (checquered?!) would be ‘warm’ of them, if there’s no price break for us Valentinas/os…(‘M’ monogrammed table cloth napkin ‘handcuffs’….??).

  • Mdiehl62

So 35.00 per person for a complete meal with wine is expensive?????  Wow you guys really don’t get out much

  • Bee

No Wonder You Didn’t Advertize the Price : $70.00!! plus tax & and your high priced tips restaurant owners force the help to ask for to make a living so the owners don’t have to pay a fare wage! B

  • jim

    Price???

  • Nicoladepasquale

Maggiano’s ain’t what it used to be, smaller portions and higher prices

  • Jenna

My favorite dish isn’t offered on this menu. Can you still order off the regular menu? Thanks!

  • Dlubbs

You want cheap? Pleanty of other places to go. Not as nice, as well prepared or as delicious but cheaper. Maggianos is delicious and special. My wife is worth it. She puts up with me, doesn’t she?

  • DanInRoanoke

Maggianos is always special. It’s always expensive but memorable. Lot of people also seem to like it because it’s always full.

  • Della Davis

TOTALLT, worth every penny considering the quality AND the quantity.  There is ALWAYS some to take with.  Bet you can’t eat it all !  I compliment the Chef and the wait staff always take the best care of their guests.  I have never had ANY complaints and, as a matter of fact, my whole family will be there next week celebrating two birthdays and Valentine’s Day.

Guess you have to call them to know the price. Sort of like Pelosi saying you’ll know what’s in it after it passes.Yeesh!

  • patsyu

By not including the price, this promo backfires.  I went from “Great idea” to “Where’s the price?” to “Well, clearly even Maggiano’s thinks this is a price worth hiding.”  So– from excited to mad.  We pass.

  • Greg

No need to tip on tax. Just 15-20% on pre-tax depending on service.

  • Greg

I don’t think it’s that people necessarily think $35 is expensive, but rather that it’s advertised as being a special deal when in reality it’s simply a normal price. There are plenty of places you can go to get comparable food at that price. Let’s be honest – Maggiano’s is tasty and above average but it’s not gourmet fare…it’s just a chain in disguise.

That’s a lot of food for $70.  Good salmon is expensive and Maggiano’s is always delish! Valentine’s Day itself is always super busy, so I’m glad this offer is good thru Feb 20th.

  • Sadg

    Alright settle down, high roller.

  • Just me

I’ll be passing don’t like any of the entrees offered and we don’t do dessert…so not worth it at all for us also I don’t like either wine being offered….probably cheaper to order what we like off the menu.

They have this same meal all the time on their menu for $40…so why is it $70 on Valentine’s Day??

If you click on the CLICK FOR MORE DETAILS button it does not say on the site it take you to (this one) but if you look on the original e-mail at the top in the heart it says Meal for Two $70.  I missed it too at first.

  • Md

I agree! That’s what happens when they go corporate! Maggiano’s used to be so good. I’m from Chicago and the way Ron Melman, Lettuce Entertain You Restauranteur really knew how to serve great food family style for a reasonable price. Now it’s not worth it anymore!

  • Not as hungry as I thought

$100 for a sirloin dinner?  That’s AMORE than I’m willing to spend!

  • OG

If its $70 for 2 it’s much cheaper that most other places in central jersey where I am.  Almost all have a $50 min per person. WOW.

  • Steve

It’s unfortunate that Maggiano’s put the price on the e-mail but neglected to put it on this website.  I’m also surprised that they do not monitor and respond to people’s questions. Even the simple ones like how much does it cost.

  • Drockwell4

If u want quality food & service, u get what u pay for. My husband & I have only received GREAT food & service every time we eat @ the Filbert St.  Maggianos. If ur not prepared for a quality dining experience, don’t bother. Otherwise, indulge. U won’t b disappointed!!

  • Ma Deangelis

I would have come to the special Feb 14 diner special but there was only one non salmon choice. Next time please give more to choose frome, but love the idea of the special and the rest of menue is fine.
    Mary Ann DeAngelis
    ma.deangelis@sterlinghomeproducts.com

  • Bikalo

There’s a reason they don’t post the price.

  • Gevans17

That is not good advertising, I searched and searched for the price!!  Won’t be going there.

  • Sue at State Road Travel

State Road Travel loves Maggiano’s. They are an incredible restaurant and worth the cost. They have such large portions and everyone takes something home.

  • Keith

I guess the reason why there is no price quoted is because Maggiano’s was not exactly proud of the price. I love Maggiano’s but someone screwed up, bad corporate decision.

  • Clundquist

That’s a great deal…    If you add what you get and under $100.00 for the quality and ambiance and for two people… I will say this this is a GREAT DEAL…

  • Lrryerc6

Well if you can’t afford it. Stay home

  • Mjsavinos

Yeah…really should state the price up front.  I sure can’t afford it at almost $100!

  • Sounder11

Please, stick a crowbar in your wallet and splurge, or is the significant other not worth $70?

  • Thanks :)

Is this available for carry out?
