Maggiano’s St. Louis Helps Make a Wish Come True for Macey

Written on June 3, 2014

Macey, a 4-year-old diagnosed with a congenital cardiac condition, had always wished to go to the theme parks in Florida to meet all the princesses. With the help of Make-A-Wish® and Maggiano’s Little Italy St. Louis, Macey’s wish came true.

Maggiano’s St. Louis Helps Make a Wish Come True for Macey

Macey and her family arrived at Maggiano’s for her wish party along with an engaged couple who had chosen to fund a wish through the Adopt-A-Wish® program as a gift to their wedding guests. When she walked in the door, Macey met a princess who presented her and her sister with tiaras and sashes! After appetizers, the princess asked Macey if she wanted to see her ride out front. Maggiano’s had arranged for a fairy tale carriage to take Macey and her family on a magical ride.

Afterward, a beaming Macey and her family went back in the restaurant to finish their meals. All of our servers and managers came by and said hello to Macey, making her feel like a true princess. Thanks to the 10-year alliance between Make-A-Wish and Maggiano’s, Macey was able to fulfill her wish of going to the Florida theme parks and lived the life of a princess for a day right in her hometown!
