Carl has been with Maggiano’s for over 11 years and started as a Coordinator after graduating from culinary school in 1999. Carl grew up on a farm He has worked at all three Atlanta locations and was promoted to Executive Chef in 2006 as the opening Chef for Cumberland. Inspiration for cooking came as a child from his grandmother and mother; growing their own vegetables and following the fresh farm-to-table cooking. Carl grew up on a farm and learned at a very young age about cooking with fresh ingredients, keeping it simple and allowing the natural flavors of the food to shine. When cooking at home, Carl still enjoys going to the Farmer’s Market to pick out his fresh ingredients and eats a lot of local vegetables and grilled meats.
