Gustavo Cortes has been a Chef at Maggiano’s for two and a half years. Gustavo is from Mexico City and he taught himself to cook. He also had a great mentor from his last job, Mark Pretta. Cortes says that the on-going process of learning is what inspires him to go to work every day and knowing that he can always improve to be the best possible Chef. Gustavo loves working with a great staff and teammates and they are what make his job as a Chef more enjoyable.
