Michael has been with Maggiano’s for over nine years and started in our Houston restaurant. While working his way up from sous chef to executive sous chef and most recently executive chef, Michael has relocated to both our Woodland Hills and San Jose locations. For the last four years, Michael has been our executive chef at our Houston location and is now a part of the culinary team at our corporate office as the Operations Development Chef and supports all of our executive chefs across the nation.
Michael always knew he wanted to be a chef and was inspired by his Grandmother and the constant exposure to cooking from his large Italian family. At home, Michael enjoys cooking for his family by grilling and smoking meats, but ultimately loves it when he creates a dish that his daughters like. At Maggiano’s, Michael’s favorite dish is our decadent tiramisu, but at home, his wife does all the baking and his favorite is her chocolate cookies.
